Miso Soup Complete Kit -Tofu and Wakame Seaweed

- Yutaka Silken Tofu 349g

- 2 sachets of Yamaki Bonito Flavoured Soup Stock (20 portions)

400g of Miso makes up to 36.
To prepare for 4 portions of Miso soup, you will need only a half carton of Tofu. Once opened, Tofu needs to be consumed in 2 days. If you are not sure what to do with a leftover Tofu, I have also created other Tofu recipes which you can find in my blogs.
Miso soup is an indispensable part of the Japanese diet. I would imagine that most household serves Miso soup together with rice and pickles for the evening meal. Some people would have it at every meal. It is easy and quick to make.
I have not come across a Japanese person who prepares Miso soup by consulting a recipe. So, why don't you be creative in deciding what to add to the soup? Tofu goes well not only with Wakame seaweed but also spinach leaves and root vegetables. To my surprise, a friend of mine made an excellent soup with streaky bacon!
